2008 brings in a new era of Michigan Football.  Please join us back at our tried and true location of JR's Sports Pub in Mount Pleasant for all the best alumni action this season!

We hope that as many of you as possible will come out for the first game against Utah at 3:30pm August 30th. 

With the emergence of the Big Ten network (and a not so great year), many of you stayed home last year and enjoyed cheap beer, and free food on your own.  I'll throw out the suggestion that perhaps this year we have a few host house games.  Might save us all some money and I KNOW there are some big screen HD junkies out there just waiting to show off their sets!  Let me know if you'd be interested!!

I'm happy to list other locations in the area if you would like to suggest them, but we will make JR's the OFFICIAL BAR once again this year.

I know there are alot of ideas out there, but to accomplish these, we need help.  I'm happy to keep coordinating football events but I'd love for someone else, or even a group of us, to try and take this program to the next level.

Some ideas I've heard:

Big Ten Picnics or Golf Tournaments
Harbor Cruises
Riverdogs or Stingrays Nights
New Neighbor Program
High School Recruiting/Scholarships

This started off as just a simple attempt to watch Wolverine football with some fellow fans, but after 4 years I think its time we try to kick it up a notch.  Maybe even a visit to the Hilton Head Club one weekend as I know they have a very strong program down there.
